What the members think
I have been with the BeingSick Group from the beginning... Have made many friends on here... They listen to your problems about your health or finances or family problems, being a care giver, whatever you have to vent about they (we) are here for you... We have folks that just need to have someone to listen to them and Know that they aren't going to be made fun of or that they will be told that its all in your head... Joining the BeingSick Group is the best thing that I have ever done... I have belonged to several groups, but this is the only one that I have stayed with, because of the caring people...

Its been going on for years, the doctors tell you its all in your head. Your friends stop calling because you never want to go out. You are beginning to thing that you really are crazy. Then, as a last resort, you decide to try a chat group. It's a true life saver. There are others on the list that have already gone through all the trials and tribulations, and can offer suggestions on everything from what to do to alleviate a certain problem, to what type of doctor to go see for a correct diagnoses. I will be forever greatful that I found this group. Even though I'm not always feeling well enough to participate, I know someone will be there if I need them. Thank you BeingSick group!

I think our group is more of a close-knit family. We really look out for each other! I'm closer to some of the people on here than my own family. We all have different illnesses, but we are united in the same struggle day in, day out. It really helps to have an ear out there....someone who knows what you are going through and has been there themselves. It is just nice to have someone who REALLY knows. I love all of our members, you guys are just awesome!!!!
